# Zoho People

## Xoxoday + Zoho People Integration Guide

Effortlessly recognise, reward, and delight your employees — all without leaving Zoho People. The Xoxoday integration enables you to award points directly from an employee profile and lets employees redeem them on a curated global rewards catalogue, all in just a few clicks.

This guide walks you through everything you need to know: from setting up the integration and assigning points, to exploring the employee redemption experience.

## Overview

The Xoxoday + Zoho People integration seamlessly connects your HR platform with your rewards ecosystem. With this integration, you can:

* **Automate recognition** — Award reward points directly from Zoho People profiles.
* **Streamline redemption** — Employees redeem points from Xoxoday's global rewards catalogue without leaving Zoho People.
* **Deliver a seamless experience** — Users are logged in automatically when redeeming — no extra steps or logins required.

This helps HR and business leaders create a culture of appreciation while keeping the entire recognition journey inside the tools teams already use.

## Prerequisites

Before you get started, make sure you have:

* An active **Xoxoday Plum** account with admin access.
* Admin or HR privileges in **Zoho People**.
* Sufficient reward points or wallet balance in your Xoxoday account.
* (Optional) A list of locations or employee types for whom the program will be applicable.

## Step 1: Set Up Integration

### 1. Navigate to Integrations

Go to your Xoxoday Plum **Admin Dashboard** and click on **Integrations**.

### 2. Connect Zoho People

Find **Zoho People** in the integrations list and click **Connect**.

### 3. Activate in Zoho Marketplace

You'll be redirected to the Zoho People Marketplace. Click **Activate** to enable the integration.

### 4. Log in and Confirm Activation

Log in with your Zoho People credentials and accept the terms and conditions to complete activation.

## Step 2: Configure Integration Settings

Once activated, you can customise how the integration behaves for your organisation.

### 1. Define Applicability

Choose which **locations** and **employee types** are eligible to receive rewards. This ensures that only relevant users are part of your recognition program.

### 2. Save Settings

Click **Save** to finalise your preferences.

## Step 3: Award Points to Employees

Once setup is complete, awarding points is seamless and can be done directly from Zoho People.

### 1. Go to an Employee Profile

Navigate to the profile of the employee you want to reward.

### 2. Click on "Reward Points"

Here, you'll see:

* **Total available points** — your organisation's wallet balance.
* **Employee's current points** — how many they already have.
* **Points to be awarded** — how many you want to give.
* **Awarded For** — add a note or reason for recognition.

### 3. Assign Points

Click **Assign Points** to complete the process. The employee will receive the points instantly, along with an email notification.

## Step 4: Employee Redemption Experience

Here's what the experience looks like from an employee's perspective.

### 1. Redeem from Zoho People Home

Employees can view their available points in the **Xoxoday widget** on their Zoho People homepage. Clicking **Redeem Points** starts the redemption journey.

### 2. Seamless Access to Storefront

Clicking **Redeem Points** takes them directly to the Xoxoday storefront — no extra login required, thanks to a secure single sign-on (SSO) flow handled in the background.

### 3. Browse and Choose a Reward

Employees can explore a wide range of **gift cards, merchandise, experiences, and vouchers**.

### 4. Add to Cart and Checkout

Once they select a reward, they can add it to the cart, proceed to checkout, and confirm. Their reward points will be automatically applied.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Who can award points?**

Only administrators and reporting managers with the required permissions can award points.

**Do employees need a separate Xoxoday account?**

No. The integration uses secure SSO, so employees are automatically signed in when redeeming points.

**What if I don't have enough points?**

Admins will be prompted to top up their points wallet before completing the award.

**Can I restrict the program to certain locations or teams?**

Yes. Applicability can be configured by location and/or employee type in the integration settings.
